Abstract

Among the technologies derived from experimental behavior analysis, there is the Programming of Conditions for Behavior Development allows analyzing and arranging teaching conditions that maximize and accelerate changes and reduce the occurrence of errors. It is a teaching technology used to characterize behaviors to be taught in different contexts and build, apply and evaluate teaching programs aimed at the development of behaviors based on analytical-behavioral principles. Thus, this article aims to characterize the Programming of Conditions for Behavior Development as an area of research and teaching planning; to characterize the historical contexts of the teaching program and the theoretical-methodological assumptions that constitute it, to describe the steps that make up the process of programming teaching and to present the diversity of its application. Providing an overview of the Programming of Conditions for Behavior Development as a research and technology area for intervention in teaching-learning processes can be a relevant step in making more accessible to those interested in planning teaching conditions.
