Abstract

This article delves into Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and its extension, Organizational Behavior Management (OBM), which scientifically studies the workplace’s impact on leaders’ and employees’ behavior. It highlights the increasing use of assessments, particularly the Performance Diagnostic Checklist (PDC), a behavior-analytic tool adapted for human services environments. The main focus is to present a clinical guideline for enhancing employee performance, introducing the PDC-HS (1.1). The proposed guideline guides the behavioral analyst’s decision-making, covering problem definition, categorization (personal life, ethical, technical), and an action plan. The text emphasizes the clinical guideline as a preliminary resource before implementing the PDC-HS (1.1) in people management, acknowledging the need for future assessment of its clinical utility and reliability.
